about

Re-mastered version of one of two tracks released as a 7" single in May1982 on our Amphibious Records label, A005. "Kitty knew" was recorded sound-on-sound on a Revox A77 reel-to-reel tape recorder, in Bayswater, London, 1981.

lyrics

« She had paid, she had paid,
she had caught a cold
in a Chelsea draught.
Kitty walks, firmly walks.
"There," she said,
"I can smell the rain!"
She was smart, not too smart.
Kitty knew
Kitty knew
Kitty knew.
When she talks
her earrings swing,
hit the sides of her face. »
